The 2017 Alpine Health Bernece Delany Volunteer Award is now open for nominations.

The Bernece Delany Volunteer Award recognises an individual who resides in the Alpine Shire, who exemplifies the tireless generosity of volunteers in caring for their community, or supporting and improving services to people including older people and people with disabilities.

 

Addressing the Selection Criteria

In the submission for your nomination, please:

1.      Outline the Volunteer’s role in your organisation (including length of service).

2.      Describe how they have excelled in their service.

3.      Explain why they should receive the Bernece Delany Volunteer Award.

4.      Supply any other information that you consider relevant to this nomination.

  • All Nominations are to be made on the appropriate Nomination Form with relevant attachments.
  • The Nomination Form and attachments should provide sufficient information to enable proper assessment by the Judging Panel.
  • We request a brief background of your organisation be included with each nomination.
  • All nominations require two referees and we ask that each of these referees provide a letter outlining their support for the nomination.

 

The Alpine Health Bernece Delany Volunteer Award will be presented during National Volunteers Week 8–14 May 2017. The Award includes a donation to the successful recipient’s local Volunteer Organisation.
