The Resilience Project - Parent Information Night

Communities That Care Alpine supported by Alpine Health are hosting the Resilience Project across all three Alpine Shire townships.  This program is rolling out across eight schools within the Alpine Shire and Alpine Health has secured funding through CTCA to support schools and community to build resilience for our young people and communities. The Resilience Project delivers emotionally engaging programs in schools for students, parents and teachers and provides curriculum for schools accompanied by teacher and student resources. The program uses evidence based approaches and practical strategies to building resilience, in order to develop sound mental health.  Based around the theories of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and building Emotional   Literacy this program builds the capacity of children, adolescents and families to  develop strategies to support them through their life experiences to maintain and improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
