The covered verandah travels the entire building.

A sitting room is situation at the end of each wing (4) with tea and coffee facilities. Three sitting rooms are 21m2 and one 40m2. Two wings connect to an activity room (2 of) each 48m2, with large windows over-looking different aspects of the garden.

The dining room (90m2) seats 40 residents, with an aspect that looks onto a picturesque garden and paved pergola area.

All communal areas are furnished in an homely, welcoming fashion.

Residents are encouraged to furnish their room with their own possessions to make it as homely as possible however; each room has a HI-LO bed to maintain independence of the resident and to reduce the risk of musculo-skeletal disorders and/or injury to staff members and carers.  Television sets, (a co-axial cable is required), and radios are permitted in rooms.  Any resident having hearing difficulties is asked to use earphones to avoid interference with neighbours. Clinical Care Staff

Personal Care staff and Enrolled Nurses attend to your everyday personal needs  eg. shower, dressing.

If required, a personal laundry service for residents can be provided.  Dry  cleaning of garments, including blankets is the responsibility of the resident/family member.
