2020 Ski Season

The State Government has announced the ski season will begin from June 22. Alpine Health in partnership with Falls Creek Medical Centre and Mt Hotham Medical Centre will be providing on mountain COVID-19 testing clinics for visitors and resort staff. 


Symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19)

  • Fever
  • Chills or sweats
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Runny nose
  • Loss of sense of smell
  • Headache, muscle soreness, stuffy nose, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea may also be considered.

Feeling unwell? Get tested.

If you begin to feel unwell during your stay on mountain, you must self isolate and get tested.

Falls Creek Medical Centre and Mt Hotham Medical Centre will provide on mountain COVID-19 testing through dedicated testing clinics.

You must call ahead to make an appointment  You will need to provide your name, residential address, on mountain accomodation address, date of birth and Medicare details when you make your appointment.

Waiting for test results

You must self isolate whilst you are waiting for results to minimise the risk of transmission. Please read the following information from the Department of Health and Human Services about what to do.

Guests / Visitors

Guests /visitors can remain on mountain however they must self isolate until results are provided. If other members of your family/party do not have symptoms, they do not need to be in quarantine however they are advised to exercise care in their daily activities to reduce the risk of transmission. 

Resort Staff

Resort staff must remain in quarantine until results are provided. Resorts will provide staff who need to self isolate with alternate suitable accomodation and support.
