About the Role:

Alpine Health is currently seeking an Activities Officer to join our aged care team at Mount Beauty. In this role, you will design, implement and evaluate activity programs for our aged care residents that are person centered and promote psychological, social and physical wellbeing. 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and engaging activities officer, who is person centered with a capacity to positively and skillfully contribute to the aged care environment at Mount Beauty.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Health) or equivalent.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role, highly desirable but not essential
  • Good communication, documentation and organisational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individual and group activities that are suited to a diverse range of residents
  • An understanding of various activity programs and a willingness to adapt to meet the changing needs of residents
  • Sound computer skills and knowledge
  • Ability to work independently

Position Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Health) or equivalent.
  • Current Police Check (with 12 months currency)
  • Immunisation status consistent with Alpine Health Staff Immunisation Procedure
