The Role:

The Allied Health Assistant will assist in the provision of goal orientated care and management of clients in accordance with individual care plans established by Allied Health Professionals. The role will provide a focus on participation in health promotion, the day to day running of various client programs within Alpine Health’s clinical and community settings, inclusive of client homes.


The Allied Health Assistant maintains the following primary responsibilities:

  • Ability to practice across the scope of the four key competency domains of practice for the Allied Health Assistant (outlined in detail below).
  • Work in accordance with the direction contained within individual care plans
  • Ability to develop and pursue goals in keeping with overall organisational objectives
  • Ability to translate standards and improvement opportunities into best practice
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Strong computer knowledge and keyboard skills.
  • Ability & willingness to contribute to program development & implementation on new initiatives
  • The ability to work independently and remotely
