Board of Directors

Alpine Health is led by a Board of Directors, who contribute a diverse range of skills, experience, and interests for ensuring the efficient, effective and accountable governance of the organisation.

Through strategic leadership and a direction focussed on defined outcomes, the Board of Directors comes together:

  • To govern and improve the well-being of the organisation,
  • To protect and improve the health of the community; and
  • To improve access to, and delivery of, health services.

Directors are appointed by the Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister for Health.

Current Board of Directors

Christine Walker

Board Chair, Dip Management, Dip HR Mgt, Cert IV in OH&S

Christine is a former Corporate Services Manager for Hydro Power Station and was appointed to the Board on 1 July 2011.   She is the Board Chair and is the Chair of the Finance and Planning Committee and a member of the Mt Beauty Community Health Advisory Group.

Rhonda Serpell

Deputy Chair, Adv Dip of Hort Mgt, Major HR Dev, Dip Company Directorship

Rhonda has a passion for farming and the environment and is a member of the Kiewa Catchment Landcare Groups.  She was appointed to the Board on 1 July 2014 and is now the Deputy Chair, as well as the Chair of the Quality Care Committee and member of the Mt Beauty Community Health Advisory Group.

Roderic Incoll

BA Social Science, Grad Dip Bus, Dip Forestry

Rod is a Bushfire Risk consultant and a former chief fire officer for the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.  He was appointed to the Board on 1 July 2014.  Rod is a member of the Credentials and Privileging Committee

Victoria Schmidt

Bachelor of Science, Engineering (Hons)

Victoria is a Principal of Silver Bullet Group and has particular expertise serving professional services, businesses, community organisations, and technology companies to help build and execute strategy and communicate the specific value delivered, engage audiences and convert more business. She was appointed on 1 July 2016 and is a member of the Bright Community and Health Advisory Group.

Ursula Webb

Diploma of Nursing, Cert IV in Property (Real Estate)

Ursula owns and manages a small boutique holiday accommodation property in Bright.  She was appointed to the Board on 1 July 2017 and is a member of the Bright Community Health Advisory Group.

 

Donovan Jacka

Grad Dip. of Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations, Grad Certificate in Mediation & Conflict Resolution.

Donovan Jacka is a Director and self-employed farmer was appointed to the Board on 2 October 2018. Donovan is a member of the Finance and Planning Committee and Quality Care Committee.

Peter Cormack

Peter owns a Management and Consulting business and was appointed to the Board on 2 October 2018. Peter held the position of Commissioner of Superannuation for the Commonwealth and has been Chief Executive in a number of Commonwealth and State government agencies, and also within the private sector.  Peter is a member of the Finance and Planning Committee and Quality Care Committee.
