Volunteering is a great way to be a part of the local community, meet new people and give back to the local area. You can use your skills and learn new ones. Our volunteers find it a rewarding and enjoyable experience and we are very grateful for their support and the value they add to our organisation.
Alpine Volunteer Program
The Alpine Volunteer Program is a service organisation initiative between Alpine Health, Alpine Shire, Community Accessibility, and Gateway Health. It's purpose is to provide a central register of volunteers designed to minimise the costs, administration and compliance requirements for volunteers and partner organisations. The program allows volunteers to donate their time easily between organisations, locations and roles if they choose to.

The indigo@home Volunteer Program is an initiative between Alpine Health, Beechworth Health Service, Yackandandah Health Service, and Indigo North Health Service. The Bernece Delany Volunteer Award
The Bernece Delany Volunteer Award recognises an individual who exemplifies the generosity of volunteering for their community and who selflessly gives their time and talent to benefit others. The annual award is a unique local opportunity to say 'thank you' during National Volunteer Week.
Anyone can nominate a volunteer. The only requirement is that the nominee must be a volunteer. The award is open to volunteers of all ages who reside in the Alpine Shire.
