Patient Privacy

Alpine Health is committed to protecting patient privacy. 

We aim to make you aware of why your information is collected, used, and disclosed.  Wherever possible, we will provide you with choices about how your information is used and to whom it is disclosed.

All Alpine Health staff are bound by a strict code of conduct with respect to maintaining the confidentiality of your information.

Alpine Health policies provide the organisation with the framework necessary for ensuring the privacy of information provided to Alpine Health by individual clients, residents and patients and the conditions under which information can be disclosed in the interests of their safety and welfare in accordance with all relevant legislation issued by the Health Services Commissioner, or any other person or body granted authority to issue guidelines under the, the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic), the Health Services Act 1986 1988 (Vic) or the Information Privacy Act 2001 (Vic).
