Nola Novak announced as the 2022 Bernece Delany Volunteer Award recipient
25 May 2022
The Bernece Delany Volunteer Award commenced in 2014 and recognises an individual who exemplifies the generosity of volunteering and who selflessly gives their time and talent to benefit others in the Alpine community. The annual Bernece Delany Volunteer Award is a unique local opportunity to say 'thank you'.
The 2022 Bernece Delany Volunteer Award has been awarded to Nola Novak in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the Alpine Shire community. Nola has been a member of our Community and Health Advisory Group in Myrtleford for over 10 years, where she uses her broad community networks to alert us to emerging health issues. Nola is also an active volunteer at the Myrtleford Hospital Op Shop which involves sorting donations, maintaining shop displays and serving at the counter. At the Visitor Information Centre, Nola provides advice and directions to tourists, and helps to promote the beautiful Alpine Shire.
Congratulations Nola, and thank you so much for all that you do for our community!
