The donation funds will be used to attend to a number of key equipment purchases and upgrades at the Mount Beauty Hospital site including:

  • Development of a sensory garden for Kiewa Valley House
  • Acute Ward – replacement of bathroom vanity units

Leanne Kilpatrick, Director of Health Services Mount Beauty said “The Mount Beauty Health Care Team look forward to the arrival of these new items, which we know the members of our community and residents of Kiewa Valley House will greatly appreciate and benefit from. This significant donation is appreciated and we are truly grateful to be a recipient of your Community Grant program.”

Andrew Randell, Chairman, of the Community Bank Mount Beauty & District said “We are delighted to be able to return funds raised by our community members through their support by banking with us to assist our local Health Service with the purchase of much-needed equipment.  This is what Community banking is all about.   The grant forms part of our 15th anniversary Special Community Grants round, where almost $500,000 was distributed to a wide range of local organisations.”
