Youth Support Services

Our Youth Support Services are a free service for young people of low to moderate risk

Support for Young People (10 - 18 years)

Young people can be seen at their schools or on Alpine Health hospital sites within the Alpine Shire. The service supports young people with mild to moderate mental health conditions including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Grief
  • Trauma
  • Behavioural issues (including anger management)
  • School refusal
  • Social skills or integration problems
  • Drug and alcohol issues
  • Other addictive behaviours

 Youth / Social worker to support schools students in Myrtleford, Bright, and Mt Beauty.

How to access Youth services

Young people and parents can be referred through their school, GP or other service providers, self-referral or referred by a friend. 

Please Note: It is really important that we receive all the information requested on the Referral Form to enable us to contact a young person.
